AKS Machining provides a select range of services, based around the twin facilities for precision machining and specialist rail services.

The services provided include a full range of machining facilities for non-rail clients, and the option of sub-assembly refurbishment, repair or build, through to specialist machining and assembly services dedicated to the rail industry.

Linked in to both of these facilities is the reassuringly comprehensive quality control and assurance employed by the Company.

All components and assemblies are quality assured via inspection at all stages of the production and repair process. A full range of inspection equipment is available in order to help meet the high quality standards demanded by our customers and the industries in which they operate. Product assurance inspections use a wide range of equipment ranging from digital verniers, through to Mitutoyo Surface Testers, including coordinated measurement using a CNC coordinated measuring machine.
